My passion for bringing the story to the stage is exemplified in my work as a director.  

Being able to collaborate with theatre artists and share plays with audiences is something I never take for granted.

 

HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE ARTS DIRECTOR & TEACHER

          - Integrating a vibrant program in the arts

          - Creating shows and scripts

          - Expanding an imaginative theatre curriculum

          - Building an extra-curricular theatre program

          - Developing a theatre community of students, faculty and families

 

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR – WHITEFISH THEATRE COMPANY

          - Directing and Producing a season of 5 to 8 plays

          - Developing and implementing an educational program for adults and children

          - Building a community outreach program to create a new home for the theatre

            company

          - Creating a children’ theatre program developing new and original work for the

            main stage  and summer camp program

 

ACTING UP – ACTING OUT!  A PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP

          - Co-founder and director of this unique theatre experience for children

          - Creating programs for afterschool workshops, summer camps, and residencies

          - Developing scripts out of the students’ imaginative exploration of the creative

            process

          - Serving schools and children in the Portland Metro Area
